October 2022: More information at your fingertips

Here are the biggest changes you will see in the FDE with the 22.10 release. It is now easier to find the information you need with more accurate domain names, embedded metadata definitions, easier to find customization options, and a new support widget.

Refreshed domain names

Several of the domain names have been updated to more accurately reflect the content they contain. The order of the domains in the navigation bar have also been changed so that domains are grouped by sector and the most used domains are at the top.

Embedded metadata definitions

You can now find metadata definitions for selected data series under the About tab in the visualization and export section. You can scroll through the metadata or choose a heading to jump to that section. You can also download the metadata using the download button on this tab.

The About tab allows you to view metadata definitions for your selected data series.

Customization options are easier to find

Options for customizing data visualization and export are now visible on default in the new Customize pop-over window. This window can be minimized for a larger data viewing window, or can remain open so you can see how changing the options changes your visualization.

The new Customize menu makes it easier to find the available aggregation options.

In-app support widget

The new Support button at the bottom right of every page in the FDE allows you to search the Knowledge Base, read help articles, and submit help tickets without having to leave the page.
