Overview

Typography is one of the most important design elements. It creates brand consistency across all materials. FEWS NET typography consists of three fonts that are easily accessed, highly legible, versatile.

Fonts

Primary Font

The FEWS NET primary font is Georgia. It is widely available, highly legible, approachable, and respected. Use Georgia for large text including titles and headings.

Secondary Font

Segoe UI should be used for body text, small text, web, and data visualizations. It is available as Microsoft systems font (pre-installed).

Alternate Font

Open Sans should be used when Segoe UI is not available. It is available on the Google Workspace.
