The FEWS NET logo is a representation of Famine Early Warning Systems Network and is a shorthand for the expertise and importance of the organization. For almost 40 years, FEWS NET’s distinct globe logo has been a symbol of our leadership in producing trusted, independent food security analysis.
Overview
The current FEWS NET logo features a ring around the globe logomark that symbolizes both satellites monitoring the planet and people joining in conversation.
This dual imagery evokes FEWS NET's remote sensing capabilities and our essential role in connecting information to action through network development and sharing our analytic products with decision-makers.

Usage Options
The FEWS NET logo may only be rendered with a horizontal orientation or stand-alone logomark seal. For partner reporting, please use the full horizontal logo.
Color Options
In addition to the full color logo shown above, reversed and grayscale options for the FEWS NET logo are also available for all logo versions.
Guidelines
✅ Minimum Size
The logo must be a minimum of 72 pixels or 3/4 inches in height.
✅ Minimum Spacing
In order to maintain the integrity of the logo, it is important to give the logo breathing room and define a minimum clear space. The clear space is measured by the height of the letters in the horizontal version of the logo. Other graphic, image or typographic elements should not appear in that space.
✅ Background Contrast
The logo should only be placed on backgrounds that provide excellent, accessible contrast. Here is an example of the type of background where the logo should be placed.
Things to Avoid
❌ Do not use the logotype without the seal.
❌ Do not change the font or rearrange the logo.
❌ Do not recolor, make transparent, or use a low-contrast background.
❌ Do not stretch or squash the logo. You can spot a stretched or squashed logo because the
mark will appear as an oval, not a perfect circle.
❌ Do not add additional text to the logo.
Co-Branding
At a minimum, the FEWS NET logo should be displayed at visually equal size and prominence as each of the other partner’s logos. Ensure minimum clear space on all sides of the FEWS logo and use unaltered versions of each.
