New features in the News Articles Dashboard
Users can now filter articles by source country, tags, and tagspublication date. Tags and source country are both assigned to a news source, rather than individual articles, by adding or editing a source in the FDW under Metadata management > News articles > Sources. Updates
Update Names of Permissions Groups for Saved Datasets (DATA-1466)
Visibility permission labels in the Saved Data Sets section of the FDE have been changed to be more specific. Previous options included Owner, Group and FEWS NET Only. The new options are:
Public - Everyone in all data policy groups can view
Private to Me - Only the user who created it can view the dataset
Early Warning Team Only - Only people in the Early Warning Team group can view
FEWS NET Only - Only people in that Data Policy can view
EWT Request for IMF Data Added to API Ingest Pipeline (DATA-1485)
Consumer Price Index (CPI) data, Labor data, and GDP data are now being pulled automatically from the IMF via the API ingest pipeline.
Create IPC Drupal nodes from public data only (DATA-1570)
This update ensures that only data collections with data source documents that have a Public data usage policy are published and refreshed on the Data Center.
Bug Fixes
FAO Price Pipeline (DATA-1518)
...
The FAO pipeline was running and failing due to dataseries metadata mismatch. To correct this, the dataseries required for successfully running the FAO price pipeline were created. In addition, an update was recently made so that when fetching data from web services, if there is a failure in one document due to unmatched metadata, other documents from that web service can still successfully pull data. This update was not working correctly and has been fixed.

Upload Revised Zimbabwe FSC Shapefiles (DATA-1566)
Revised Zimbabwe 2013 and 2021 shape files have been uploaded to FDW as follows:

Change the status of aggregated records(datapoints) from calculated to aggregated. (DATA-1575)
The status of all aggregated datapoints has been changed from
calculatedtoaggregated. This ensures that aggregated records are easily differentiated from calculated domain records.
Enable Helptext to be accessible to public users without a FDW Login ID (DATA-1583)
FDE and FDW helptext is now available without a login required. This allows users accessing publicly available dashboards (e.g., News Aggregator and Import Dependence Dashboard) to also access relevant helptext.
Update South Sudan Data in FDW (DATA-1610)
This update allows a user to upload IPC data with a phase description (e.g., Famine or Famine Likely) in addition to phase values (e.g., 5).
FTFCT Ukraine Resource Gathering - Sites and keywords to add (DATA-1639)
Additional news sources related to the war in Ukraine were added to the News Aggregator dashboard.
Add Import functionality for Price Ratios (DATA-1642)
FDW users with the appropriate permissions are now able to bulk upload price ratios. This functionality can be accessed using the path below:
Data Analysis > Calculated Data Sets > Relative Prices > Import relative prices (i.e., https://fdw.fews.net/en/admin/price/priceratio/import/)

Bug Fixes
Filtering either by Geographic or Market Filters of the exchange rate data of the country Haiti results in all of the exchange rate data of all the countries (DATA-1390)
Filtering either by Geographic or Market Filters of the exchange rate data for
Haiti(e.g., https://fdw.fews.net/api/exchangeratevaluefacts/?format=html&subtype=ExchangeRateValue&country_code=HT&fields=simple) returned exchange rate data for all FDW countries. This issue has been fixed and now returns correct exchange rate data for Haiti.
Spatial Export Bug Fix (DATA-1562)
In the spatial domain, population and demography estimates were not being shown in the data extract when shapefile attributes were included. This issue has been fixed.

The link to the data disclaimer in the footer of the FDE was broken. This link has been fixed.
